Content upgrades are offers you use to entice viewers into subscribing. A free download or PDF that is instantly shared, often as a preview of what your subscription, or service, offers. There’s two steps involved in setting up Content Upgrades with Optin Cat.
Before you begin:
Two Step Optins, and MailChimp Interest Groups are available with all plans of Optin Cat Premium. Optin Bait Delivery is available only with a Business license of Optin Cat. Head here for details, or to purchase.
There are many ways to go about this, but it usually involves advertising your content, with a call to action that triggers a signup form.
1. Set up an optin with Two-Step Optin
First, you want to set up a two step optin form , offering your download, and add it to your blog post. Click here to learn more.
You can use a button, image, or plain text link for this. Whatever works best for you.
2. Set up Optin Bait Delivery
Method 1:
The easiest way to deliver your Content Upgrade is our “Optin Bait Delivery” feature, which lets you set up unique optin baits for each optin form, to be sent automatically.
Method 2:

For AWeber and MailChimp only.
With ‘AWeber Tags’, and ‘MailChimp Interest Groups’, you can send your optin bait through your provider, while still adding subscribers to your main lists.
Just add the tag or group to the form, that tells your provider to send the email offer, right away.
