What kinds of Backgrounds Should I Use:

Our library of available backgrounds is located here:

Some Examples:

You can download any of the images there, simply by clicking on them. They are all 1920 x 1080 px and optimized for your website.

You can also use your own images.

For these, we suggest your images are also at least 1920 x 1080 px. Landing Page Cat will make the images fill any screen. If your images are too small they will be expanded, which can lead to poor quality.

We also recommend you optimize your images, so they load quickly and don’t take up more space than needed. Image Optimization for your WordPress site is something you should probably already be doing, but it’s especially important with large images, like these. You can do this with a plugin, or you can optimize them with software on your computer, before uploading. Learn more about image optimization here.

Make sure your image is saved to your computer, and you’re ready to add it.

Adding the Images:

You can add the images traditionally, using your WordPress media library. Or you can do it directly from within Landing Page Cat.

1. In the ‘Layout & Content’ tab of your landing page, click ‘Add Image’

2. Then select an existing image from your WordPress media library, or upload one now.

3. Hit ‘Select’, once you’ve chosen your image. It will then be added.

4. Now use the ‘Opacity’ slider above your image, to lighten or darken it, if needed. This will make light font colors appear more clearly, and make your images seem more expertly done. We highly recommend using this feature.

That’s all there is to adding your own background images to Landing Page Cat.
