Why another email opt-in plugin?

More and more small businesses and bloggers are realizing the importance of email marketing. Following this trend, lots of email marketing startups have popped up recently, but very few of them tightly integrate with WordPress.

When building WordPress sites, we’ve noticed how difficult it was to build nice-looking opt-in forms that integrate with some of the most popular email marketing tools such as Mailchimp.

It was pretty much impossible to get anything done without writing HTML & CSS. After the success of our first plugin, Easy Pricing Tables, we’ve realized that lots of WordPress user want easy-to-use solutions. That’s why we’ve built Easy Opt-ins For Mailchimp.

Easy Opt-ins For Mailchimp can be downloaded for free from the WordPress.org plugin repository.

This plugin is under active development. Possible future features include:

• More opt-in form layouts
• Integration with vendors other than Mailchimp
• More opt-in form types (v1.0 only supports sidebar widgets)
