1. Setup:

1. Once installed and activated, Landing Page Cat will appear in your WordPress Dashboard, under “Landing Pages”.  To create your first Landing Page, click “Add New”.

2. Create a title for your new Landing Page.

3.  Select the type of Landing Page you want to create. You must choose your deployment behavior, and call to action.

Your Deployment Behavior Options Are:

Replace my homepage – Used to overwrite your homepage. This is a great way to quickly create a simple, effective, homepage.

Publish on a specific URL – This option will deploy the Landing Page anywhere on your site. It can be an existing URL or a new one.

Replace my 404 pages – This option makes custom 404 pages easy. It will replace all your “Page not Found” pages.

Welcome Gate – This option will display your landing page to all visitors, or only visitors coming to your site from specific websites. It can be made to always appear or only appear to viewers once. Learn more here.

Disable – Have a Landing Page you’ve created that you no longer need? If you don’t want to trash it, you can simply turn it off here.

Your “Call to Action” Options Are:

Email Optin – Enables an optin form on the landing page to be used for lead capture. The form fully customizable and can be integrated with various email marketing providers.

Button – This option will display a simple button at the bottom of your Landing Page, to redirect viewers elsewhere.

None – If you are looking to create a really simple landing page, you can disable the CTA with this option. This is also used if you want to add your own links to your Landing Page.

Layout and Content:

Next, we’ll be designing your Landing Page. Choose your background, and add your content here.

1. Choose a background. You have many options to choose from:

Use a solid color of your choice.

Use one of our 6 included backgrounds.

2. Add a headline, and choose the font color.

3. Fill out the description, and choose the font color.

4. Design your CTA area. Customization for the “Email Optin”, and “Button” CTA will appear here:

For Email Optin Only – You’ll have the optin to disable, or enable a name field, and pick your placeholder texts here.

Then you may customize the colors and text of your button.

Configuration:

Next, go to the Configuration tab to setup how your “Email Optin” CTA will work and enable tracking with Google Analytics.

1. Email Provider Settings: Select the email provider of your choice and integrate Landing Page Cat with your account. Detailed Instructions.

2. Email Optin Settings:

Subscribing Message – Choose your subscribing message for the button to display when pressed.

Thank You Message – Choose whether to have a thank you message displayed immediately, or to redirect your viewers elsewhere, upon a successful optin. Then you may customize the message, or where to redirect.

3. Error Messages: Customize the responsive error messages here. There is one for if a field is left empty, and one for if an invalid email is provided.

4. Google Analytics: Here you can enable tracking for your landing pages through Google Analytics. This requires you have either Analytics Cat, or “Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights” installed and setup. Click here for instructions.

Upgrading your Fatcat Apps License :

1. Log into your account,

2. Locate your download and click “View Licenses”;

3. Locate your purchase and click “View Upgrades”.

4. Choose your Level and click “Upgrade License”!

5. Proceed to checkout.

Once upgraded your license should remain the same, but you will need to install the new upgraded version of your product.

6. Install

After upgrading you will need to install your new product(s) and activate it with your new licenses. Head here for instructions.

Instructions:

1. Go to your WP Admin Dashboard -> Plugins.

2. Step 2: Deactivate any free or older versions of the plugin.

3. Install the updated plugin zip-file that you may download from your Fatcat Apps Account (if you have not done so already. detailed instructions).

4. Afterward, Find your product in the sidebar of your WordPress Dashboard.

5. Open the resulting drop-down, and select Licensing or Settings, (depending on your product)

6. Enter your license key, click Activate – then Save at the bottom, and you’re done. The license key can be found in your original purchase email and also in your Fatcat Apps Account.

What if my license status does not change?

Occasionally, your web host or caching plugins may cause communication issues with our licensing software.

If your license status doesn’t change after following the activation steps, please try these two things first:

1. Clear your website’s cache. If you are using a caching or security plugin, clear the cache and then try activating your license again.
2. Contact your web host. If you receive an error message referencing “CURL,” please take a screenshot of the full error and send it to your web host. They can usually resolve this by updating the CURL on your server.

Alternatively:

If the above steps do not help, or you are unable to activate for other reasons, You can manually activate any of our premium plugins by going to your Fatcat Apps Account > View Licenses > Add your site to your license.

Afterward, you can ignore the “inactive” status as this would resolve the issue for you.

However, automatic update notification may not show up in your WordPress Dashboard.

In order to update your plugin, you would need to go to your Fatcat Apps Account and re-download our plugin to get the updated version.

Then you would need to remove the old version and reinstall the updated version. You will not lose any previously saved work this way.

4. Click the link and your download will begin.
5. If your browser automatically unzips the plugin, you can either compress the plugin or use a different browser to download your plugin.

First, retrieve your plugin (eg. convert-cat-business-1.1.2.zip, easy-pricing-tables-agency-2.3.7). You can download the plugin from the purchase receipt (sent to you via email), or by logging into your account (you’ve received a login via email).

Installing any of our premium plugins can be done in 2 different ways.

Method 1: Installing the plugin via the WordPress admin panel

This is the recommended way of installing all of the Fatcat Apps premium plugins.

Step 1: Go to Plugins -> Add New

Step 2: Go to Upload -> Choose File

Step 3: Select your downloaded zip-file from your computer

Step 4: Click “Install Now”

Step 5: Click “Activate”.

Method 2: Installing the plugin via FTP

You can use this approach if the plugin install via the WordPress admin panel fails or if you prefer to use FTP.

Step 1: Unzip the Plugin’s .zip file. The file will be named after your product and the current version.
Step 2: Connect to your server using FTP.
Step 3: Navigate to your “wp-content” folder within your WordPress install.
Step 4: Navigate to your “plugins” folder.
Step 5: Upload your plugin folder (eg. convert-cat-business-1.1.2.zip, easy-pricing-tables-agency-2.3.7) to this location.
Step 6: Log into your WordPress admin and go to Plugins -> Installed Plugins
Step 7: Locate your newly installed plugin here, and click “activate”.
